I'm a female personal trainer based in Kingswood, Bristol. I offer inclusive strength, kettlebell, running and fitness training.

All my sessions and programmes are created to fit individual wants and needs on a one-to-one and doubles/couples basis.

My aim is to make people feel happier, stronger and more confident within themselves and the world around them. Empowering people by sharing my knowledge and understanding of strength, fitness and the human body as a whole.

I love working in person with people and strive to make exercise fun and accessible for everyone!

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jo Bryan-Smith and I'm a level 3 personal trainer and a certified StrongFirst kettlebell and bodyweight instructor. 

​

Originally training in St George Park, Bristol. I'm now stationed indoors at Fitness Foundation, Kingswood which also has some green outdoor training space for when the weather is good.

 

My fitness journey started when I was in New Zealand after leaving a stressful job in the creative and Bristol nightlife industries. I experienced burnout which led to being hospitalised with bacterial pneumonia. Although it was a close call the whole experience had many silver linings including stopping smoking, beginning my running journey, and starting my

personal training business. 


My experiences make me an open-minded and holistic trainer. I work with people to achieve their goals through movement and training that works with the demands of a busy schedule. 

 

I thrive working with people in groups and on a one-to-one basis, and aim to find the right type of fitness to suit your physical,

mental and emotional needs.

Think of me as the gateway drug to exercise.
